30 Years As Trial Attorney In Federal And State Courts

As a young prosecutor for the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, James Patton learned how to develop compelling courtroom presentations.

Later as a trial lawyer for the United States Attorney’s office in Newark, New Jersey, Mr. Patton’s reputation continued to grow. And in the process, Mr. Patton gained substantial insight into how judges and juries make decisions across a wide range of complex cases.

In 1991 Mr. Patton opened an independent law practice in Livingston, New Jersey, specializing in criminal and matrimonial law. Utilizing his invaluable experience, Mr. Patton, offers excellence in presenting effective cases at trial and where possible, negotiating favorable settlement agreements for clients.
